Dr. Perdomo received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers College in 2006 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey: School of Health Related Professions in 2010, which is currently known as Rutgers School of Health Related Professions.
He later began his ownership position at Responsive Physical Therapy in Toms River and is passionate about providing exceptional care and quality patient experiences. He feels strongly about the importance of providing accessible care to the local communities where he lives and works by providing in-network services, as well as providing attentive one-on-one care.
During his education, Marc received class awards for clinical and research work. Dr. Perdomo's professional career started in orthopedic clinical work in private practice and outpatient hospital settings.
He became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2014. Dr. Perdomo also completed his Certification as an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist through the University of Pittsburgh as part of their 2023-2024 cohort. Dr. Perdomo is dedicated to always advancing his clinical education and staying current with evidence-based physical therapy practice.
Dr. Perdomo specializes in Orthopedics and Vestibular therapy. He also has advanced training in Runner’s Injuries, Concussion Management, Manual Therapy, and Chronic Pain.
In his free time, Marc enjoys keeping an active lifestyle with going to the gym, running, biking, paddle-boarding. He loves to travel and explore new places. Marc enjoys most sports, but has a passion for soccer, and was an avid player growing up.

Dr. Sean Coll

Dr. Coll’s interest in physical therapy began with his own sports-related injuries in high school, which sparked his passion for rehabilitation. He earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in 2007 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers School of Health Related Professions) in 2010.
In 2014, he became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Certified as an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist by the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Coll has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sub-acute rehab, and home care. His clinical expertise includes orthopedic and vestibular conditions, as well as post-concussion management.

Dr. Maureen Nelson

Dr. Maureen Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stockton University in 2020, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2023. During her academic journey, she contributed to research examining the potential relationship between lower back pain and diaphragmatic breathing, showcasing her early interest in exploring complex physiological connections. Her clinical experience was enriched through rotations at Thomas Jefferson Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic and various acute and subacute rehabilitation facilities, providing a comprehensive foundation in diverse patient care settings. This hands-on experience prepared her for the multifaceted challenges of physical therapy practice. In September 2023, Dr. Nelson embarked on her professional career as a Physical Therapist at Responsive Physical Therapy. She has since expanded her expertise through specialized courses in vestibular training, orthopedic conditions, and the management of patients with balance impairments and neurological disorders. This ongoing education demonstrates her dedication to delivering advanced, evidence-based care that incorporates the latest developments in physical therapy practice.
Dr. Nelson's approach to patient care is characterized by a unique "full-spectrum focus" methodology. This involves not only dedicating undivided attention to each patient during treatment sessions but also considering the patient's lifestyle, environment, and personal goals to create truly individualized treatment plans. By weaving together clinical expertise with a holistic understanding of each patient's needs, Dr. Nelson strives to optimize outcomes and empower patients in their recovery journey.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nelson embraces an active and diverse lifestyle. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and rock climbing, as well as going to concerts, bowling, and reading. These diverse interests contribute to her balanced perspective as both an individual and a healthcare professional.

Lori Funkhouser is the office manager at Responsive PT. Lori has over 17 years of experience with medical billing and providing professional and courteous service. Lori is available to answer all your insurance-related concerns. At your request, she will handle your insurance-related issues pertaining to your benefits to ensure proper utilization.
Vinnie A. Saez
Office Administrator
Vinnie has over 35 years of office management experience. Many of those years include training at the Administrative levels of a teaching hospital. Her education includes degrees in Business Administration, Management, Communications Administration and Data Processing. She has been managing the Tom’s river office since opening in 1996.
